A Responsive Online Store for Brisbane's Favourite Bookshop.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Folio Books is Brisbane’s favourite bookshop, especially for Architects & Designers, but it’s website was looking outdated and tired. A fresh new look & eCommerce platform was needed.
With Folio’s Architecture & Design niche in mind, we focussed on increasing the size of product images & spacing everything out super comfortably to allow for a gorgeous browsing experience.
We used LemonStand Shopping Cart for it’s impressive flexibility, in order to refine every stage of the e-commerce experience. The Google Books API was integrated with Folio Books to automatically provide book previews, based on ISBN, allowing customers to ‘peek inside’ books before purchasing.
All of this was wrapped into a lovely super-responsive package, to allow users to purchase books from their desktops, laptops, tablets & phones.
