As a Senior Product Designer at Fathom, my role is laser-focussed on the UX & interaction design of our core SaaS application. My role covers everything from prototyping & validating new product features, to setting up a long term design strategy to help a design practice grow within the business.

My role spans every stage of a project life-cycle. From the holistic high-level UX solution design all the way through to the final UI execution and managing the design & functional quality of the development delivery, then analyzing and iterating once the initial project has launched.

As a UX Design Lead at Liquid Interactive, I worked as a dedicated resource onsite with the QLD Government (Department of Science & Technology) designing & leading the agile delivery of digital solutions for over 4 million Queenslanders. My role covers everything from prototyping new product features and stakeholder management, to mentoring other designers to enhance their skills.

Senior Interaction & UX Designer

As an Interaction & UX Designer at Rex Software, my role is heavily skewed towards new software product design. I’m involved in projects at all different stages, from product design, concept validation, holistic UX solution design, user research & interviews all the way to prototyping finessed animation to delight users.

As the chief prototyping resource at Rex, I also help to breed an early validation & lean prototyping culture by educating Designers & Developers in different methods & tools in workshop settings, as well as on a day-to-day basis.

UI Lead & UX/UI Designer

As a UX/UI Designer at Flight Centre, my role spans every stage of a project life-cycle. From the holistic high-level UX solution design all the way through to the final UI execution and managing the design & functional quality of the development delivery, then analyzing and iterating once the initial project has launched.

As UI Lead, my role also centers around mentoring, setting UI standards & driving initiatives to improve & develop the Design team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design highly usable, elegant interfaces with constant consideration of human behaviour
  • Production of low & high fidelity prototypes with Axure8/InVision
  • Production of wireframes, user interaction flows, system maps, personas and scenarios
  • Collaborative & stakeholder workshop facilitation
  • Analyzing heatmaps, A/B & MVT testing to validate & measure design decisions
  • Championing UX & UI within the wider business, and passionate advocacy for users
  • Implementing & championing component driven design & development practices
  • Collection & analysis of user research through A/B Testing (VWO), user surveys (Usabilla), & focus groups

 

Team Rocket

Drove an initiative to improve loading times on the FC website. We dramatically reduced page sizes and implemented new performance budgeting for future projects.

Component Library

Led a project to implement a component library (KSS driven), bridging the gap between design/dev teams and encouraging the team to build with a ‘component’ mentality.
